Handcrafted Botanical Cleansing for Your Everyday Routine.

Cleansing is something we do every day, but the products we choose can turn that simple step into a more thoughtful self-care ritual.

RA Naturals Sea Moss Cold-Processed Soaps are handcrafted in small batches using carefully selected plant oils, butters, botanicals, sea moss and special additive – African black soap. Each bar is made using the traditional cold-process method and allowed time to cure before it is ready to use.

Cold-process soap is created through saponification — the process that transforms oils and an alkaline solution into soap. The ingredients and formulation help shape each bar’s hardness, lather, cleansing feel and character.

Every variety has its own botanical ingredients, colour and aromatic experience — making each bar a little different.

New to Sea Moss Cold-Processed Soap?

New to handmade soap? Here are a few simple answers to help you understand how cold-processed soap is made, how to use it and how to care for your bar.

What is cold-processed soap?

Cold-processed soap is made by combining plant oils and butters with an alkaline solution through a process called saponification. The soap is then allowed to cure for several weeks, giving it time to harden and develop into the finished bar you use for cleansing.

RA Naturals Sea Moss Soaps are handcrafted in small batches using thoughtfully selected plant oils, butters, botanicals, sea moss and African black soap. Each variety features its own combination of ingredients, clays and aromatic elements to create a unique cleansing experience.

African black soap is a traditional West African soap made from plant-based ingredients that can vary by region and recipe. We incorporate African black soap into our cold-process formula as one of the botanical components that gives our bars their distinctive character.

Keep your soap in a dry, well-ventilated place between uses and allow water to drain away from the bar. A draining soap dish or soap saver helps the bar dry properly and can help it last longer. Avoid leaving handmade soap sitting in water.

How long your bar lasts depends on how often you use it and how it is stored. Because handmade soap can soften when it remains wet, allowing the bar to dry completely between uses is one of the best ways to extend its life.
